I meant 12 feet, not inches. It costs that much because they have to put it in a crate and send it freight, since it's too long to send via UPS. Normally that's no big deal, because most people buy the longeron spruce along w/the other stuff for chapters 4-8, so sending all that stuff freight ends up being cheaper than UPS.

On the other hand, when all you want is 6 measly peices of spruce, it's kinda pricey!
