Default Bend an Ivo blade to P-tip form

As far as I know, Ivo blades incorporate a torsion rod as the means for adjusting pitch. How far from the blade tip is the rod end anchored? Would it be possible by careful heating and bending the tips, to turn a straight blade to a P-tip or micro-winglet one?

Default IVO

The torsion rod is about 12-14 inches from the hub end. No way to heat and bend these blades as they have a fiberglass skin with a composite filling inside- like a chocolate cream cake only solidified.
