I completed my solo long cross country this week end.
The fourth leg was into Fort Wayne Internation (FWA). I snaped this picture.

About this time do you think I was questions my taxi instructions?

All went great, I'll be scheduling my check ride for a couple weeks!

Default Never again

Well, take a good look at a hot looking paint scheme. According to Jack his E-Racer is going through a few design mods and a new paint scheme (his third?). I've been following this plane for years and this guy is never satisfied but it always somehow looks better than the last. Can't wait to see what's next. Hope to see it at Rough River this year?

Default at the EAA Arlington airshow a couple weeks ago...

two Quickies (both Canadian, eh) and a Long.

(there might have been more at one point or another, but I attended on the very last day and I think a lot of people had cleared out already.)

I always love the look of the Q. SO unusual.

I expect to see something like that in JPL's archive of far-out NASA experimentals, not on the tarmac at your neighborhood municipal.

Wow, that Cozy sure has a lot of influence on other designs! So, what happened to Opus 1 and 2?

I believe this is his third plane that he's built. I know he built a Long but I can't remember what number two was.

I try to post this on Monday and it's Friday (yea!). I'm unemployed at the moment so Friday is like Monday to me anyway -heheh.

In reference to Oshkosh and all the chatter I decided to releive you all the grief of one more OSH photo. But here's one from another air show where safety is not a factor. Check out the guy standing knee deep in the water hoping to be decapitated.

Not even close. His name is Jurgis Karirys. He's a Russian (Lithuanian) psyco-great pilot. Here's his website.
