Default Sticky-Stuff pump?

ok I am going to get a sticky stuff pump from ac... I will either be using MGS or Poly-Epoxy. Does the pump have a way of selecting what ratio to use?

thanks
Erick

Yes, they offer an adjustable model. Just make sure the one you get is adjustable ratio

Its sad to hear that he died. Was he still manufacturing the pumps or had he sold them? Who is making them now?

Before he died. He told me god told him what stocks to pick. He did quite well at it. Mike gave to the church's god told him to also. God dropped the ball when IRS wanted capital gains tax. His kids went with his X a long time ago.
I think the pumps are a done deal. His big movers were industrial on demand self mixing pumps.
He was a rare engineer. He could use tool and not hurt himself.

I called Michael Engineering last Friday to order a rebuild kit. Spoke to Rob. He was very helpful. Even offered to sell the teflon O rings seperately if I wanted. The rebuild kit should be here early next week.

Seems like the company is still operating.

I know a guy who married into the family at Micheal Engineering, and has become their guy for industrial stuff. They are still making all of the pumps for us too.

Is there a way that I can change my ratio on my Sticky Stuff Pump?
It's one of the older pumps and I need to get it to a 5:1 ratio.

Well.....if anyone is interested in a Sticky Stuff Ratio Pump that is set up for either Aeropoxy or 335, I've got one. It was just rebuilt but it won't work for the epoxy I'm using. $100 takes it.

Default Adjusting dispenser

TMann,

The Stick Stuff dispenser can be adjusted to a 5:1 ratio. My instructions say to put the distance between the pivot bolt and the edge of the clamp at 2.13 inches. o) <- 2.13 -> l

Hope this helps
Bob

I'll check it out. I would have to drill it if that's possible

Default Re: Sticky-Stuff pump?

Okay so I have been using my sticky stuff pump for 6 months now and it has developed a leak somewhere in the resin pump mechanism??? It seems to be leaking from the piston portion of the pump? What can I do to fix this? is there a gasket inside the housing?

There is a teflon O-Ring that you can replace. Even a new pump will ooze a bit.
