Looks hot rod gorgeous! Nuthin' purdeer n' milled billet. Looks s'pensive too! Nice work. I got a feeling there's a lot more custom machining gonna' happen besides an engine mount and a door handle.

Sure, why not drive to Rough River and pick up a few?

You could save yourself and local builders a pile of money on shipping.

Seriously, IF you want to pick up parts at RR I need to know NOW. Thats not a problem with all the machined parts and hardware, they are a done deal but I have two fixtures for the tubular mounts, 13B and 20B but I can only make so many between now and then, so please contact us at the CGPARTS at amatures offline dot com-mercials-r-us address.
Regards, Chrissi & Randi

The 13B's are nearly identicle. I will take some pictures for assembly instructions as we put the mounting system on our 13B, I had it on it looks really awesome. The offset starter bracket worked like a charm.

Hmmm, but the plugs will be the wrong direction!

you girrls are making some nice looking parts. I might have to start a new airframe just so I can use some of them. that engine mount could work for me, the plugs I use don't care which direction you put them
Looking at the pics I noticed the airframe in the back ground and it looks like it is also waiting patiently. it looks a little neglected , is that a tear drop on the floor or just a drop of resin?

Dear Lynn,
Oh the Cozy, yeah that was some project we used to mess around with, basically needs the engine to go on the firewal so we can make cowls and do the final fill and finsih (the other 90%)
But I just have a ton of welding to do...
Whats criminal is I just realised I have not been out on the motorcycle in three months! Where did the summer go?
Not sure how big your firewall is, besides, whats wrong with the Lycoming on it now?
Regards, Chrissi

you do need to get back to the cozy soon. or set aside one day a week for it. we are all waiting to see that plane fly and we need someone to give Slade a run for his money.
where did the summer go? what summer? you meen those days when the weather is much to hot to work and you have to work anyway.
the lyc is running great and I am not going to touch that plane, just fly it. the mount will be for the next project. maybe a streached 4 seater with a 20B. or a 10% scaled up mark IV.

Dear Lynn,
Instead of stretching a Cozy, I keep waiting for someone to take the Defiant plans, put two Lycomings or subarus on the back, put "pleasing shape" nose on it (oh god that would look so cool, like the new cessna Mustang jet, stretched appropriatly to make ether a very comfy 4 passenger or 6 passenger mini starship out of it. Ooohhhh all that fuel space.
A big comfy cross country machine =)
Leave the aero parts alone, oh ok blend the winglets to be snarky, just put a new fuselage on it. (way too much room for improvement there)
Yes, we are going to finish the Cozy, just a lot of parts need to be manufactured all at once right now.
Coming to RR?
Regards, Chrissi & Randi

[Western boots-spurs jangling...Bar doors flinging open. Sagebrush rolls by in the wind.
Uncooth dirty Californian appears as a silhouette at the door- 6 days of dirt caked all over him.]
Squinting outta one eye, he spits.." Word is...theres some girrls 'round here with sum nice parts-".

Silence, just stares from inside...one of the Mexicans cigarettes slo-mo falls out of his slack jawed mouth.

He steps in..along with a desert of dust.
"I'm lookin' fer some partz". [cue the good, the bad, and the ugly whistle]
Silence.
[whistle.] Waa Waa waaaaaaa.
A cute blond steps around from the bar and shoots back.
"So...Who wantz ta see doz partz padner"?

"Well heyyyy, pretty lady. Who cares who I beeeee....like the commercial says...partz, is partsssss".
"Not once you've seen MY partz, mister"..and with that she reaches behind the bar and slings a schweeet polished-up 20b mount, up on the bar.

{Gasps in the room]
CalifSkypoke swallows hard, bugg eyed, and stammers..
" You're rrrrright Missy, I reckon I'll never be the same agin. 'Dems the finest partz I ever did seeee....Fine as frog hair, yessireee".

"And it ain't 'Missy', it's Chrissi", says the brunette comin' 'round the other corner towards him...
"Don't choo ferget it either, there buster. And we gotta whole catalog of the finest Girrl partz on dis here green earth..just waiting fer yer perusin- but not yer pawin'.

"Lemee see. Lemme see. Lemmeee see."
[he is reduced to a blithering idiot as he fondles the gorgeous 20b mount]
Chrissi rolls her eyes at Randi...at the sight of yet another blathering man.
The barkeep steps up, rubs out a glass and remarks, "You Girrrls just gotta git used to it... dem boyz are 'jus plane crazy 'bout yer parts"
Randi swats at the drifter...
'"Dems some seriously righteous work that makes them parts look like that. You can't be puttin' yer paws all over 'till yer serious about 'em....
Toss some gold up on the bar and we can talk some turkey bout partz".

And as the word spread....thats the story about how "Girrl Partz" won the West...part by part...by...parrrrrrt.

Wa Wa aa eeee awww, Waa, Waaaa, Waaaaaaaa

I ate dinner with Clint the other night at Tehama and I guess it carried over to today and flavored my post.....

That's about one of the funniest things that has ever been posted here and certainly needs to be featured on the CG website. I know the place, right next to cheesecake shot of Randi!
