Default Safer flyin

Two unrelated conversations recently with High Performance, High time pilots.

Fly every two weeks to keep skills up

One a Vari driver and one a light twin driver, both had the same comment. These are high performance planes, plan on stopping by the airport every other week to do some touch and goes to keep skills up.

You should probably plan on a weekly trip so that when you cancel one, you don't miss the next one.

Fly often, stay safe.

For me this will be easy as the airport is between the office and the home

Default Re: Safer flyin

Might just be my relative inexperience, but I don't have a lot of luck flying after work. I just don't have the mental energy left to fly well. Sorry if this alarms the customers but it works better to fly before work, I'm used to feeling like crap on afternoon shifts.
