Default Rage, Rage against the dying of the light...

Seasons change
Economy down
Commercial real estate crushed
Home values crushed
People leaving the state in droves
Business slowing
Child #1 off to college
Child #2 learning to drive
Wife of 23 years in hormonal distress
Is it a mid-life crisis, or just life ?

...That makes me want to build something or kill something?

A scream in the wilderness...

In bad times plane building can just plane make it easier to get through - ask me how i know.

If you can dribble a few bucks to do it, just plane do it.

I like this guy!! Misery loves company.

I do both but Nov. 15 is a little bit away and most times I don't get to kill anything. I have a bow but it drives me crazy sitting in a tree for hours to days wasting time when I could be building something (or working).

Summer is great, fall is okay, winter sucks unless you're an indoor person who doesn't like bugs and can control the weather with a thermostat. I go to the garage, read the plans, build something, then life is wisked away for awhile. Sometimes till 1:00AM. Plane building is great therapy.

Spirits looking up, just moving helps
Don't wallow in it ....
Things outside your control are just that
Control what you can...
The people around you
What you do ...
Don't just take it ,
rage, rage against the dying of the light
Building something once again ....
Is better than any chemical psychotropic ....

Son, you don't need therapy - Go Kill err. Build something !!!

Neverquit and Dust have it right - become a force...
"The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step" - Some Chinese Dude

The bowling one has become a perpetual motion machine....
Never stop, never give up, one foot at a time ... Stop whining and move!!!!

I will not hibernate ever again!!
What did you do today???

I found this tacky plaque at a garage sale. Now its over my workbench...

Don't Quit
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit...
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is strange with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a person turns about,
When they might have won if they stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow...
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close whe was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out...
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,...
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

...Not Robert Frost but it gets the point across.
