Default Comm Antenna Placement

Well, last evening i was talkin with a glassair flier and he has his comm antenna on the leading edge of the vert stab.

As i now understand comm antennas, this is the optimum placement of the flat side of the tape to the station you want to hear and broadcast to.

He get the PTK atis from 55 miles away.

I'm going to put my new comm antennas in a slit in the foam so that they will also have the flat side forward.

Good stufffffffffff
