Default Hot tub / Chat room

OK, how many in favor of a hot tub / chat room?
If nothing else so we can say "Hey John, quit goofing off and go fly that thing!" in real time and have everybody else chime in

We tried the real-time chat thing on the old forum. It got a bit silly and pointless and died off fairly quickly. I'll go for the hot tub idea, but lets make it video.

And, by the way, I'm not goofing off. I'm busy scraping the Polyfiber paint off my bird for as long as I can stand the heat in the hangar each day.

John
Hobbling much better this week

Thanks for thinking of me, but being a completely unorganised shiftworker I'm flexible. Its just that most aviation chat I've been involved in seems to degenerate to horny teenagers asking each other what they are wearing within 2 weeks who gang up on anybody that wants to discuss aircraft!

That is why you need to keep a large glass of bleach next to your keyboard if you do a video chat, its not what they are wearing but what they are not, grab the bleach quickly and wash your eyes with it!

I once discovered the hard way that jalepeño juice provides an equally strong distraction, without all of the additional side effects.

Thats what IRC chat is for. ##canardians is pretty quiet these days, with three or four regulars, so come along and give some lip.
