Way to go Jamie.

If you saw the classic film "Annie Hall", Woody Allen, on a first date with Diane Keaton wanted them to kiss immediately so as to get that part of the relationship out of the way.

In a similar fassion, you should take all of your good clothes and shoes and mix some epoxy and spill it on them, as this will happen anyway. Get and memorize a dictionary of profanity, as you will need it. Stick some epoxied and cured fiberglass strands under your fingernails, shed some blood sweat and tears, all at the same time, throw away some perfectly good parts because they don't exactly fit, purposely misread some critical instruction, take a vacation from your family or significant others, compulsively read, reread, and reread, reread, and reread, reread, and reread, reread, and reread, reread, and reread, reread, and reread the instructions, and generally become an airplane hermit.

Practice over and over agin the statement, "I knew it would cost that much," as if to convince yourself.

After you do all of the above, embark on a most rewarding and wonderful experience.

Welcome to a new world.
