Default Plans on BO

Hi folks - My name is Phil, and I'm a Cozy builder. This is Cozy-builders Anon - right? I just placed my order for plans and the Chapter 3 practice kit. Looks like some items are on BO.

Last week I saw a part number for ordering the "M" drawings, but can't find it today. I'll have to give ACS a call.

Phil

Default Plans/M-dwgs

Hey there...

I just got my plans last week - dunno if it's the plans or the matls that are BO for you (I didn't order any materials yet as I'm hoping to go with a local supplier), as for the M-drawings, I was going to order an extra set, but I also saw they were no longer on the website. When I asked about them, I was told they are still available, but at US$150 , I passed (I had thought they were $50, that would be worth the time savings on tracing the ones that come with the plans, at three times that - I'll trace!)

When I ordered my M-set I gave them my plans nubmer. The cost was $50 - I think but without a plans number it was definitly higher.

Plan on the spruce in the first couple of chapters taking 2 weeks before your order ships. I've got one week to go before shipment!

I also thought the "M" drawings were higher if you did not have a valid plans number. It should be $50 with the number. Just call them and ask. They are nice to have. I have cut up, mutilated, wrote on, and taped them together to form the whole side view. I have kept the individual sheets that come with the plans in pristine shape, for reference.

Hello Phil.

Welcome to the group.
I see you're in Renfrew, PA. I may be flying into Youngstown this weekend or next. Char is driving over to visit family, and weather permitting I may join her there for one or other weekend. Maybe we can hook up.

Maybe next time, Joe. It seems Char's finally missing me, so she's heading home on Friday. I'll be busy most of the weekend.

Well, as you know, I sold the Musketeer because maintenance cost me a lot more than I could afford. I'm hoping that by building my own plane I'll actually be able to afford to fly it.

Burns about the same per hour - but goes twice as fast! LOL!

The plans arrive last week - working on the shop and waiting for materials that should arrive tomorrow!
