It kind of looks like what wapati8 was describing, except with twin engines. Personally I would like a no frills, single engine, long-ez but in a 2+2+2 configuration; minimally widened and minimally lengthened. |

![]() I found this interesting picture on NASA's picture and Media library site. I really like the image exchange.

![]() I wonder if that is the 6 passenger canard JD made retract gear for that never went anywhere? I saw a mockup of half the fuselage and the prototype gear at Osh several years ago, like so many they faded into oblivion probably due to lack of finances.

http://www.ainonline.com/Features/ne...tcruzer01.html and the answer is no. Given the 1984 date and the configuration, that's pretty obviously a scale model of a Starship, or a variant thereof. http://www.bobscherer.com/Pages/Starship.htm

Somewhere around 2000-2002, they had large lists of "firm" orders with "substantial" monetary deposits and they were flying the Jetcruzer all over the place with flight tests and marketing. It all went belly up and they put all of the assets on sale in one big Long Beach Airport garage sale following that. Someone got rich out of it. Long Beach Airport ended up with very large hangar space / manufacturing space, and I think that the taxpayers footed a good chunk of the bill with tax breaks and other hidden incentives.

I am thinking what he did may be a good starting point for my plane. I would like to take what he has done and modify it into a 2+2+2 or 2+2+3 variant like what I was describing at the beginning of this thread. |
