Default Where to stick it?

Is the fuel line per plans a good place to put it? I'm thinking a high point in the sum so sludge and water can't reach but I can get most of the fuel out.

I see drain valves in the front of the strake. Of course for the grazing position. Shouldn't there be one at the sump? It's the lowest point on level flight.

I'm putting one in the leading edge of my oversized sump, to squirt when in nose down position. I also have my sump finger screens at the lowest possible position, do not want an accumulation of stuff at the bottom, would rather screen it out continuously in the 3 or 4 fuel filter screens i will have.
