Default Turbo Control

Well, all the ground based turbo controls are going on EBAY. They are oposite what needs be done for aviation, they will boost a constant amount at all times.

We are switching to electronic controlled linear actuators. Now I feel confident!

I remember this guy used to post on the Canard forums a few years ago,,,,rv6ejguy. Anyway,,,he just posted an update with photos of his EG33 twin turbo set-up on his RV-10: http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...ad.php?t=67189 Looks to be a home-brew design? Awesome looking set-up.

Thats what he had me buy.

Too complex and has to be "jury rigged" to work. Standard ground based design that works backwards to what is needed in Aviation. Fine for a turbo pro like RV, not fool proof enough for a fool like me. My ECU specialist has talked to him and gone over his setup. I also understand what he has done.

Fortunately I have an Aviation Engineer/A&P/Boiler designer/1000 light twin pilot who is familiar enough with my needs working with an Electrical Engineer/ECU specialist to design and implement a fool proof, I'm the fool, system.

Totally programmed into the ECU. I'm finally comfortable with the solution, time will tell. Just at the beginning stages of it, but looks very promising.

From the outside look a lot like where you're going. I thought all along he was your mentor. What's the diff?
So your ECU specialist is Mike, correct? Who's the aviation engineer - boiler designer?

ECU is Dan White of White racing. Jim is the aviation engineer - boiler designer.
