I looked thru all pages of that thread, interesting bunch of airplanes and people. Maybe I missed it elsewhere, did you build the LongEz from scratch or import a project?

My Long-EZ imported from US old registration N813BS. I rebuild and repaint airframe. Now it's very smooth airplane. Also I install electrical airbrake actuator, change radiostation and some avionics, rebuild electrical wiring and other. I get several airframe damages in transportation (pitot, both strakes, nose) and rebuild it.

Rebuilding process:
