Default Web Sites, by chapter

One thing that has been extremely helpfull was when I made a list of links to as many Cozy websites that I could find, by chapter. Now I only did chapter four mind you, because I have not started yet. Looking at my list of CH 4 sites, you quickly find out ideas that you did not know about, and perhaps avoided a few pitfalls as well. I know not everyone is building a Cozy though...

I did something like this:
CH 4 links...
CH 5 links...
CH 6 links...

and so on.

I have to agree. I have learned a ton from reading other people's build websites... unfortunatly most of it is for a Cozy though, so it is somewhat useful but not totally. I guess that is the down side to starting to build a 20+ year old design.

Heck, you may get lucky. Maybe Burt is trying something like Coke did years ago when they discontinued the original recipe. Maybe Burt will start offering the plans again so people don't start building Pepsis...

Kinda off topic, but I'm pretty sure Burt is out of the homebuilt game for good. He has way too much to lose now by assuming the liability again of supplying plans... he got out for a reason, and for that same reason I doubt he would get back into it.

Jon, there is a lot of information left from the CSA guys. Suck it up at Rough River. Remember the Cozy is only a wide LongEZ with longer wings. All the tips are the same.

I like this idea, instead of sifting through endless posts trying to find information relevant to what your working on, you can just go to the forum for the chapter you are working on...

good idea

I cannot imagine why he might do that. I expect he might be glad that his design was widely appreciated, modified.. loved even.. and that it continued to be built long after his time was up. There is no greater compliment than that.

Well, Marc's back now. How about getting the FAQ in the wiki by chapter, then it can grow from there.

its not an akronononymium, its a real word. Its hawaiian for "quick".. because a wiki is a quick way to collectively document something, and collect multiple truths. ie, "multiple truths" is closer to the one real truth. The wiki distills itself over time.

Oh gosh... here we go with the multi-linguistic 'thank you'.

So Mr. Dust... how do they say 'thank you' in Mongolia?
