There are three levels of Mile High Award. Bronze - With the pilot Silver - with the pilot WHILE he (or she) is acting as P1 Gold - With the pilot while P1 during a night solo IFR approach in a thunderstorm. Then, of course, there's the 2 mile high award..... |

because, say, in Denver, MSL would be on the taxiway. which seems much safer.
