Default Fuel lines

Well as many builders do on many items, i've been waffling on my decision on SS or aluminum lines in the cabin. SS is a must aft of the firewall, but, SS or Aluminum can be used internally.

Aluminum is my final choice, it will take vibration better than SS and is easy to fabricate and replace if needed when the system is disassembled at each annual.

When you flair the line for the fitting, aluminum is softer and forms easier than SS.

SS work hardens more than Aluminum.

I think if a tube will crack at a fitting SS would be more likely to crack, long term. They tend to crack at the end of flair.

i have lot of fittings in the cabin

to tank, 2 fittings
to schreider Valve, don't know the fittings yet
in and out of fuel filter each side, 4 fittings
in and out of fuel valve, 6 fittings
in and out of fuel filter, 2 fittings

I will still shock mount all line and filter supports to reduce vibration
