Yeah, but rule 2 should not have to be, don't trust what is said or implied. They, Blue Mountain once told me they had 600 units out. That was well before the G4 level, That makes 600+ unhappy campers.

And there's the problem that something has be built first. I bought mine when I was ready to install it, but I had to have it to know what wiring I *really* needed to run to it, and then it just took longer than I hoped to get ready to fly. It's not like I bought and it was sitting in a box for a year, there's always going to be lead time.

I understand they didn't want to advertise the new version until it was out because it would cannabilize sales of the old version, but also strongly believe that there should be a daughter-board-style computing upgrade available. The issue is processing speed, not basic incaptibility, Greg has already offered to activate weather on a G3, he just thinks the ADI terrain (not GPS moving map) would slow the processor unaccepatably.
