![]() Just an aside thought....
I have had my Single Engine Land / High Performance ticket For 12 years or so.... At my age I have to BFR and Medical every two years... But ... (I have never, I mean never) seen a ramp check of my ticket or currencies... Now I know if I have some incident there will be action. If I have a fatal accident there will be nothing to worry about ... If it is my plane, who in green acres is going to stop me from flying it??? Just wondering.... ![]() |

![]() Quote:
The questions as to whether or not you have met EVERY FAA requirement that pretains to the 'ill fated flight' will be asked by the Insurance ADJUSTER. It's easy to pay them ........... the angst come when it's time for them to pay you. I carry renter's insurance. I've been doing business (renting planes) from the same guy since the 80's and carry the insurance to make sure if I screw up, he doesn't get burned. His quote was " I will still have to file a lawsuit in order to get paid....... just the way they are."
