![]() Hello All,
Name is Rob and I am currently a Maintenance Test Pilot Instructor/Instructor Pilot in the CH47 D/F stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL. I am very interested in building a Cozy Mk IV or Long EZ when I retire (about 3 years), but until them I am seriously considering buying one because I commute from Ft. Rucker, AL. to Clarksville, TN about every other weekend 420 road miles and it is about a 325 NM trip flying. If anyone has any tips or thoughts I would love to hear them. I am a Commercial/Instrument Rotorcraft and Private Pilot SEL. Looking to finish my instrument and commercial airplane. Thanks, Rob Last edited by N4PJX : 07-08-2007 at 04:29 PM. ![]() LongEZs with the 320 engine are very popular. Getting an origianl set of plans are pretty tough, though there are some OpenEZ plans out there that are close to the LongEZ plans.
If you are looking for a four seater, the Cozy is very a good choice for the money. Most people regard it as a two-seater with a lot of baggage room. Still there is plenty to read about people with 4 in the aptly named aircraft.
