Sadly, there is no way that I'll be able to leave Dayton before midmorning Friday. I'm just happy I can skip out early. I usually have class until 5:00 on Friday

Default Rough River weather?

Hmm, these local storm reports (from wunderground.com) for Rough River don't sound too good! It looks like they got 2.37 inches of rain on 9/22. I hope the ground is dry enough for camping... It also said they are predicting another front to come through on Wed/Thu of this week. As for the extended forecast, Saturday looked nice and dry.

Airplane..0360..strake...Are you and Randi into these!?- My wife dragged me to my first one, and I instantly found they were amazing fun...we have a blast doing the whole faire garb thing....They hold them now behind the huge Casa de Fruta area up next to Hollister in the foothills and it is very 'authentic' with uneven terrian along the wandering faire.. HUge jousting events in the stadium, ground combat, a zillion costumed folk...around a 150+ venues/booths and comedy acts. I think the attendance is about 125 thousand over the month of weekends being open this year! Good fun, and for those who poo poo it at the very least-you're missing marvelous eye candy. Go once and you will feel out of place in your normal 20th century clothing and the next time you go you will favor returning en garb. And men, the more dashing you appear the more flirtatious the wenchs and ladies of the court... all in good fun.
All in all a nice way to get 'away' from the normalacy of everydaylife...
