Default Plane Pic of the Week

I used to subscribe to a boating magazine that the back page always had a great boating photo of something funny. It was the best part of the mag. I'm proposing a similar idea in a new fun thread called Plane Pic of the Week (or the day). I'll try to keep it updated but for now I think Steve's classic pic of Dust is an apropriate beginning. Any additions?

This picture made AVweb newsletter eariler this year. I did't realize how good it was till I got home.

Notice the ribbon he just cut. Also, notice black spot on the C of oracle. That's a piece of the ribbon!!!

To bad the plane is no more, just glad he's OK.

Default F-22A low pass at Sun N Fun 2006

F-22A low pass at Sun N Fun 2006. Even though all they did were low passes, it was amazing to see them.

Are you sure its not a model plane? Some of the rocks look rather large for an aircraft apron...

I wonder how close that bird was to the F/A-22 in that flyby picture?

That wasn't a bird, it was an ultra-ultra light...

I think the guy was a bit off.... At OSH he had a small plane, the Lotus, and photos of the plane behind the Lotus hiding the lower fuse and landing gear. He was chatting up the concept like it was already proven. Obviously with his hand out looking for investors to pay for his toys. He even sported the "Burt Rutan" sideburns.

Nobody remembers???

This one was so good I had to post it here. Hats off to Audioflyer and Dreamer. You got to chuckle at early technology....

Just found this pic from spring break. It the BD-4 microjet at the Bud Weiser Musiem in St. Louis.

Funny thing. My wife and I don't care for beer, but we both enjoyed the tour and then sampled the beer. Nope still didn't like it. ha ha
