Default Cozy burns on 8/8?

If I read this correctly, a MK-IV burned recently. Wondered if the owner is a contributor to this forum.

Damned, does anyone else feel like they've just gotten punched in the gut? Having followed him for 9 years, this one really hurts.

Agreed. It is one thing when someone we barely know ends up crashing or losing their plane. It is another when it is someone from here.

Yes, Blonde Streak was destroyed in a fire yesterday. Haven't had the time to report on it yet - spent the day hauling it off the airport property and disposing of the remains in the local landfill. Give me some time and I'll report the gory details...

Oh, I am just sick.

Brian's was one of the first Cozy websites that I poured over "cover to cover" for about a year before I made the decision to build one. Many features on that plane I plan to copy. It was beautiful. Just knowing that the Blonde Streak is no longer is painful. All those hours of building something that great to be gone in a matter of minutes before your eyes. I cannot imagine.

Oh, I am just sick,

Kraig

OMG!

Brian. I'm so sorry to read of your misfortune. Like Wayne says - a punch in the gut, or even lower.

I saw Brian's beautiful Cozy when he flew it into Phoenix during my visit. It put mine and many many others to shame. This is a terrible loss to us all.

Please tell us the details so we can hopefully avoid the same sad ending to the dream...... or is this event the beginning of another dream???
