Bill Harrelson a Lancair 4 builder/flyer began his 2nd attempt about 10 days ago. He reached the South Pole via Recife, Brazil, Punta Arenas, Chile and returned to Punta Arenas. Bill Harrellson landed today in Kinston, NC having circum-navigated the earth passing over both South and North Poles in 27 days! This leg lasted 25 hours from his departure point of Fairbanks, AK.

Kudos to Mr. Harrellson.
